“Carb” boost during Tai Chi practice

Tai Chi practice can be very strenuous, at least the way I do. In low stances, it can be a real cardiovascular workout. Well, workout needs some fuel in form of healthy carbohydrates. Here one of my recipes:

Tortellini (filled with cheese) salad with lemon/olive oil dressing:

Ingredients:
250 g tortellini filled with cheese
5 Italian tomatoes(pommodori)
many large green basil leaves
Shrimps if you wish
Other herbs like oregano or chives
garlic about 3-4 cloves, depends on your taste

Dressing:
juice of3 lemons or 4 limes
extra virgin olive oil
(both 2 parts oil and 1 part lemon)
seasoned sea salt with herbs incl cellery
chillies depending on taste
some freshly ground black pepper
mild paprika powder

Cook the tortellini, mix with all ingredients, leave the basil whole. Chop tomatoes, crush garlic.
Mix everything with the lemon and olive oil dressing. Your salad will be ready, yummmy for a hot training day. It is important to take large tortellinis, ripe tomatoes and fresh garlic. Olive oil is healthy, contains poly unsaturated fat. It is light during training
